Located in the sheltered deep-water boundaries of the Cromarty Firth, the Port of Nigg is Global Energy Group’s leading facility for servicing the energy industry and is widely acknowledged for its multi-sector capability, providing unique turnkey solutions for international energy customers 365-days-a-year.
Having benefited from over £120m investment from Global Energy Group, the multi-user Port of Nigg facility features construction and assembly shops totalling over 17,000m2 and boasts over 1,200 meters of deep-water quayside. In addition, the world-class facility benefits from one of the largest dry docks of its kind in Europe and can provide flexibility by also operating as a tidal wet dock.

Nord Centre

Global Energy Group's Aberdeen facility is located in the Nord Centre, a secure industrial complex located adjacent the Port of Aberdeen. Boasting 3,000m2 of covered fabrication, our facility at the Nord Centre benefits from direct quayside access for loadout operations to the North Sea.
We occupy four of the industrial units at the Nord Centre, which are primarily used for carrying out covered fabrication of bespoke subsea equipment and topside packages for oil and gas projects. The facility also benefits from additional warehousing and storage directly on Port of Aberdeen’s 175m Clipper Quay, featuring 9m water depth LAT.

Invergordon Service Base

Boasting 3,500m2 of covered fabrication workspace, Global Energy Group's facility at the Invergordon Service Base is situated within the Port of Cromarty Firth - the statutory harbour authority for the Cromarty Firth.
The Invergordon Service Base benefits from access to 700m of deep-water quayside and over 90,000m² of open laydown space. Global Energy Group operates from Fabrications Workshops 1 - 6, which are equipped to perform partial assembly, with final assembly taking place in the dedicated Assembly Workshop.
