Global Energy Group has secured a contract from Briggs Marine - a leading provider of Marine & Environmental services - for the fabrication of two 20-metre Subsea Cable Storage Baskets, each weighing approximately 80 tonnes.

Global Energy Group is proud to announce the integration of three newly qualified fabrication apprentices into its core workforce. The apprentices, who recently completed an intensive 16-week Welding & Fabrication SVQ course at the Nigg Skills Academy, are now contributing their skills as apprentices to the fabrication team at the Port of Nigg.

Global Energy Group (GEG) has been awarded a contract from Subsea7 Norway, to fabricate 134 Subsea Spools for the Aker BP-operated Yggdrasil Field Development in the North Sea.

Global Energy Group would like to congratulate Daniel Nicholson, Welding Engineer in our North Fabrication division at the Port of Nigg, who has completed his International / European Welding Engineer (IWE / EWE) qualification.
